What is and why use a Design-Set?
A Design-Set is a collection of dimensions and parameters that you select from the model to edit them together in the Design-Set dialog-box. When they are in the Design-Set, you do not need to open each element's dialog-box to edit it separately. Because we save the Design-Set with the model, you can open it at any time. This is a tool that makes it very easy to forward the model to other design engineers so that they are instructed as to which dimensions and parameters they should edit. You can use them to remind yourself also. You can also add to a different Design-Set those dimensions that you do not want to edit. Give it the Label - Do Not Edit! When dimensions are in a Design-Set, you cannot edit them in the model. |

•When you add a dimension to a Design-Set, you can edit the dimension only in the Design-Set. •Dimension and its extension lines you add to the Design-Set become gray in the Part-Editor. |

•A Motion-Dimension FB becomes gray if you add the Motion-Dimension to the Design-Set. |
