 Y-axis Values 

It is EXTREMELY important to understand that whether you can edit the Y-axis values is a function the:


Control-Buttons:

Use the settings of the three Control-ButtonsRed-14-1Red-14-2Red-14-3 in Y-axis Values to specify or not-specify a motion-value of each motion-derivative.

Red-14-1b Do you want the Start-Value of the Selected-Segment to be '=' or '≠' to the End-Value of the Previous-Segment?

Red-14-2 Do you want to specify, or not-specify, the Start-Value of the Selected-Segment?

Red-14-3 Do you want to specify, or not-specify, the End-Value of the Selected-Segment?

Motion Laws and Motion-Derivatives

It is the Motion-Law that determines whether you can edit a motion-value for a particular motion-derivative.

For example:

Flexible-Polynomial Motion-Law : you can edit the motion-values for all motion-derivatives.
Traditional Motion-Laws : you can frequently only edit the motion-value of the position motion-derivative

Control Buttons States

FLOW is active

The motion-value at the Start of the Selected-Segment ...

... automatically becomes [forced to be] equal to the motion-values at the End of the Previous-Segment

or

FLOW is Not Active

AND IF: Start is Active

You can edit the motion-values at the Start of the Selected-Segment

AND IF: Start is Not Active:

You will not edit the motion-values at the Start of the Selected-Segment [but you could, if click the icon to make it 'Start is Active'

AND IF: Start is In-Active

You cannot possibly edit the motion-values at the Start of the Selected-Segment
