Tutorial 8: Import DXF Files, Change to Solid Extrusions

Import DXF Files and Convert Lines and Arcs to Solid Elements

Objective

1.Review the elements that are associated with a DXF file-type and DXF-Drawing.

2.Import a DXF-Drawing with the File menu > Open > DXF file-type

3.Link the DXF-Drawing to a CAD-Line.

4.Use the CAD-Line dialog to convert DXF-Entities in the DXF-Drawing to MechDesigner sketch-elements.
