3rProject-Explorer

The Project-Explorer is to the left of the graphic-area and Contextual Toolbars.

There are three panels in the Project-Explorer.

GST-ProjectExplorer

Selection-Window

Elements that you click in the graphic-area or in the Element-Explorer (see below), will show in the Selection-Window.

To edit, rename, or delete an element that is in the Selection-Window:

1.Right-click the element

2.Click Edit, Rename, or Delete element in the contextual-menu.

Command-Manager  

When you add particular elements, you need to select other elements from the model. In that case, the Command-Manager opens with selection-boxes for the elements you must select.

You select an element for each selection-box, in order, from top to bottom.

When all selection-boxes have elements, the GST-TICK-GRAY-24X26 button at the bottom of the Command-Manager becomes GST-TICK-GREEN-24X26 active (colorized)

Click the GST-TICK-GREEN-24X26 , or Right-Click in the graphic-area, to complete the command.

Element-Explorer  

The Element-Explorer has three(3) hierarchical trees. Two(2) trees show at one time.

In the Model-Editor and Mechanism-Editor, the two(2) name-tabs are:

Assembly

Kinematics


Note: If you cannot explore the Kinematics-Tree, click Edit menu > Rebuild


In the Part-Editor, the two(2) name-tabs are the:

Assembly

Geometry
