Standalone License-Key or a Floating/Network License-Key?

Before you buy MechDesigner, please inform PSMotion which type of license you want: Standalone or a Network/Floating.

PSMotion cannot change a Standalone to a Network-License, or a Network to a Standalone-License after you run MechDesigner the first time.

Standalone License:

One license is locked to one computer.

Advantage: Easy to install.

Disadvantage: Users must work on the computer with the license.

Network (also called Floating) License

The license is locked to your server.

Advantage: Install MechDesigner on any number of computers that have access to the server. We limit the number of simultaneous users to the number of licenses that you purchase. PSMotion can increase or decrease the number of licenses, as required.

Disadvantage: More difficult to install, needs an I.T department and a Network-Administrator. If the server is down, so are your licenses.
