Menus and Toolbars

NEW - Shortcut Menu: commands and toggles that you may use many times.

Menus- with the commands in a pseudo-ribbon, at the top of the application window.

Toolbars - above, below, left, and right of the workspace .

The active Menus and Toolbars are also contextual to the active editor.

Notes: You can show Menus only, Toolbars only, or show Menus and Toolbars - see Application-Settings > Accessibility tab >

Workspace

The workspace is the graphics-area with its name-tab.

All three editors have the same workspace.

•Model-Editor

•Mechanism-Editor

•Part-Editor

You add different elements to each editor, to build your model.

Project-Explorer is to the left of the graphics-area.

It is a summary of the element in your model.

Feedback-Area is below the graphics-area.

It provides messages, hints, Slider to move your model to different positions in the machine cycle.

MotionDesigner is docked (default) to the right of the graphics-area.

Memo : a memo opens when you start MechDesigner the first time.

To turn the Memo off, deselect the Open Automatically at Start check-box at the bottom and left of the memo.
